New York Theatre Salon is a monthly social event for professional theatre artists from different nations, cultures, and communities. Through our monthly panel discussion and networking event, we aim to explore and revitalize the social function of theatre.

Yue Liu
Founder
Yue Liu is a New York-based theatre producer, general manager, and graphic designer. Over the past several years, Yue has worked with Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), Roundabout Theatre Company, Vassar & New York Stage and Film’s Powerhouse Theater, DR Theatrical Management, and Town Square Productions. Founder
Troy is a New York-based actor, playwright, and digital marketing consultant. He is a graduate of Atlantic Acting School's full-time acting conservatory. Cassandra E. Nwokah
Co-Curator
Cassandra is a Nigerian American theatre artist and a 2017 graduate of Columbia University’s MFA acting program. She is the founder of Smash the BOX, a theatre collective for women of color. Her work explores identity and where it intersects in political and social spaces. Her poetry play i come from A People is part of the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning’s 2019 First Friday series (March 1st).
